IMMUTEC RanScan AI is a smart software solution that can detect suspicious activity and “weird behavior” on your computer(s) using a powerful AI algorithm. This allows you to detect hackers and malware at an early stage in most cases. Beyond scanning for known malware, it also recognizes malware/hackers that have not yet been identified.

The software is connected to our monitoring service. If a hacker or malware is active in your network, the suspicious activity is detected. We get a notification and start informing you so you can proceed to take appropriate actions. It’s also possible that you then call in an IR (incident Response) Team.

This software is an add-on for IMMUTEC RanScan AI.

The Active SOC is a software connected remotely to the IMMUTEC RanScan AI. If the RanScan AI recognizes strange behavior, the Active SOC can stop and isolate the attack or process. This immediately prevents further expansion of the attack or spread of the ransomware. After the attack is neutralized, the alarm service is activated. This significantly reduces the time required by and for the Incident Response (IR) Team.

Cloud services such as Microsoft 365 (M365) or Google Workspace do not provide a backup of your data. This is also stated in their terms and conditions. The cloud provider refers you to an external party such as IMMUTEC.

The GDPR legislation requires to guarantee that your (personal) data are available and that you can restore them in a timely manner. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate that you have taken sufficient measures to secure your data. So you have to make sure that your security is sufficient to recover deleted or damaged data.

According to the GDPR, you are administratively liable if you have not provided a backup of your cloud environment.

The IMMUTEC Secure Backup platform is an in-house developed high-end backup solution in cooperation with Arcserve, Maastricht University Advanced Computing Sciences Faculty of Science and Engineering among others combined with Sophos and OneXafe solutions.

We work according to the BAAS principle: Backup As A Service. Together with you, IMMUTEC draws up a backup plan for your company and then sets up the entire environment for you. This way, you don’t have to worry about installing and managing the backups. And you don’t need any knowledge of backup or the software.

With our Disaster Recovery platform, we ensure that you are quickly operational again in the event of a disaster. By running a copy of your server(s), you can continue to run your business in the event of a disaster while problems can be resolved in the background.

With the unique IMMUTEC Proxy server, your servers, applications and workstations will appear as if you are still working in the operational environment. In reality, you are connected to your Continuity environment at IMMUTEC (Disaster Recovery). This environment is facilitated for you from the data center (DRAAS) or from the Public cloud (Azure, AWS).

The Vault is an advanced immutable storage located in the IMMUTEC Datacenter in the Netherlands and can be compared to a digital bank vault. In that bank vault we can park encrypted packets of your data. Data cannot be modified and no software (malware) can be started.

Unlike a regular backup, only encrypted packets of your data can be written to it. The Vault continuously checks to see if any data has changed or been added to your backup. If so, a new packet of encrypted data is added to The Vault. Actually added because the packets that are already there are there forever. They cannot – just like on a CD-ROM – be changed or deleted in any way. Not even by a hacker.

The Vault fits on almost all existing backup systems. For example, Comvault, Veaam or other vendors. Depending on your IT setup, we create a direct link to your backup platform or we place The Vault Box in the existing network.
